Sisli Etfal Hastanesi Tip Bülteni/ The Medical Bulletin of Sisli Etfal Hospital, founded in 1966, is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly in Istanbul, Turkey. The journal aims rapid publication of papers in all fields of the medical sciences on a regular basis. External peer review of all papers are completed within 4 weeks after submission of the manuscript, and accepted papers are published within 3 months. The journal publishes editorials, original papers of experimental and clinical research, reviews, case reports, letters to the editor and articles on the current issues of medicine. Med Bull Sisli Etfal Hosp is distributed free of charge.

Aims and Scope 
The Medical Bulletin of Sisli Etfal Hospital is the scientific open access publication of University of Health Sciences, Þiþli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital (the content may be accessed free of charge through the web site www.sislietfaltip.org). Four issues are released every year in March, June, September, and December. The language of publication is English. Med Bull Sisli Etfal Hosp only accepts manuscripts written in English.

Basic Publication Rules 
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data and the journal is in compliance with the uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals published by the ICMJE. The editorial and publication processes of the journal are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as well.
