Farengoözofageal Defektin Gastrik Pull-Up Tekniği İle Rekonstrüksiyonu, İki Olgu Sunumu

Farengoözofageal defektlerin onarımında primer hedef oral kavite ile özofagus arasındaki ilişkiyi tekrar kurarak üst sindirim yolunun devamlılığını sağlamaktır. Kliniği­mizde uygulanan iki gastrik pull-up tekniği ile rekonstrüksiyon olgusu dolayısıyla çeşitli farengoözofageal defekt rekonstrüksiyon yönteölerini irdeledik. Hastalığın kötü progonozuna ve gastrik pull-up tekniğinin yüksek mortalite oranlanma rağmen bu seçeneğin hipofrarenks ve servikal özofagus kanserlerinde onkolojik ve palyatif açıdan tercih gören bir yöntem olduğunu gözlemledik.

Reconstruction of the pharyngoesophageal defect with gastric pull-up, report of two cases

The primary goal of the repair for the pharyngoesophage­al defects is to maintain the continuity after the upper alimentary tract by re-establishing the relation between the oral cavity and the csophagus. We reviewed several techniques of reconstruction for pharyngoesophageal defects and evaluated our experience in two cases in which we performed reconstruction using gastric pull-up. We conclude that, despite poor prognosis of the disease and high rates on the part of gastric pull-up technique, it is a method of choice in cancers of the hypopharynx arıd cervical esophagus owing to oncologic and palliative grounds.
